Today, the last trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has closed down by 28 points to 1972.09 points, after a decrease of 28.68 points from the previous day’s 2000 points. The sensitive index has also decreased by 4.79 points to close at 351.65 points.
However, a total of 74,46,000 shares worth Rs. 2 arba 59 crore 87 lakh have been traded in the secondary market today.
There are 13 sub-indices that have turned negative today, with the finance group’s sub-index showing the highest decline of 3.21 percent, followed by the hydropower group’s sub-index at 2.62 percent, trading at 2.51 percent, and the hotel and tourism group’s sub-index at 2.27 percent. The sub-indices of other groups have also decreased by 2 percent today.
Today, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) shares have also increased by 10 percent.
